An informative, empowering guide to mental and spiritual discontents.
Your mind isn't a mystery—it's a Matrix.

Understand how your mind works, and how to shift it toward balance, clarity and connection.
What if your hardest struggles aren't with your life experience, but how you experience life?
What if you could understand how your mind works and take clear, personalized steps to improve your quality of life?
The Mind Matrix Model™ offers a revolutionary yet practical framework for navigating your inner world. The Model weaves together neuroscience, psychology, and contemplative traditions such as Buddhist mindfulness and holistic healing arts. It offers a clear, accessible map of human experience that helps you understand why you think, feel, and act the way you do — and how to change those patterns when they no longer serve you.
At its core are the Three Selves, the dimensions of your being that shape every aspect of life:
-
The Vital Self – your body, instincts, and energy
-
The Heart Self – your emotions, relationships, and belonging
-
The Head Self – your thoughts, stories, and meaning-making
Each Self is supported by unconscious processes that take care of essential functions—from regulating your heartbeat and breath, to running emotional scripts and cognitive routines—freeing your conscious mind to focus where it’s most needed.
All of this unfolds within your State, the inner climate of your mind that colors every thought, feeling, and reaction. When your State is balanced and positive, you feel present, calm, and connected. When it’s destabilized and negative, you may become anxious, reactive, or disconnected from yourself and others.
Together, your Selves and State create the internal space that determines how you feel, act, and connect with the world around you.
The Mind Matrix Model book helps you understand your patterns and shift into a more grounded, connected, and empowered state. It helps you recognize patterns, shift out of anxiety and reactivity, and restore internal harmony.
Whether you're struggling, seeking, supporting others, or simply curious about how the mind works, the Mind Matrix Model offers a clear, flexible path for understanding, healing, and growth.

Meet the Three Selves and State

Vital Self
Your body’s instinctual wisdom. The source of your energy, regulation, and survival responses.
When the Vital Self is balanced, you feel grounded, balanced, present, and resilient. When out of balance, you can feel restless, frozen, or drained.

Heart Self
Your emotional and relational world. The feeling part of you that seeks connection, empathy, and internal peace.
When the Heart Self is balanced, you feel open to others and internally connected. When out of balance, you can feel shut down, overly sensitive, or emotionally reactive.

Head Self
Your mind’s capacity for thought, belief, and understanding.
The Head Self is composed of two aspects: the Analytic Mode and Holistic Mode. When balanced, your thinking is clear, creative, and focused. When out of balance, your thoughts can be scattered or get stuck in negative loops or overthinking.

State
Your State colors everything. When you’re in the Positive State, your mind is flexible, your body is calm, and you can connect with others. In the Negative State, you shift into survival mode—reactive, guarded, or overwhelmed. The Mind Matrix Model helps you recognize and shift your State so you can respond rather than react.

Why the Mind Matrix Model Holds Up: Neuroscience, Psychology, & Ancient Wisdom (15 Minutes)

You’ll hear how MMM aligns with modern understandings of stress physiology, brain networks and State shifts, developmental psychology and attachment, and trauma-informed change. It also shows how older contemplative and “balance” traditions often describe the same core architecture in different language—body regulation, relational/emotional life, cognition, and conscious awareness—integrated into one practical map you can use.
